Daniel Perry

Daniel Perry
performs as a first violinist with the Boise Philharmonic, Associate Concertmaster of the Boise Baroque Orchestra, and first violinist of the CastleRock String Quartet. He currently maintains a vibrant private teaching studio. He has concertized with the Spokane Symphony Orchestra, Anchorage Symphony Orchestra and Anchorage Opera. Daniel has degrees from Pomona College and the University of Washington where he studied with former Chicago Symphony Orchestra concertmaster Steven Staryk.



Shauna Smith

Shauna Smith
earned a Violin Performance degree from Albertson College of Idaho while studying with Geoffrey Trabichoff, concertmaster of the Boise Philharmonic and former concertmaster of the Scottish BBC Orchestra. She is a violinist/violist with CastleRock Strings, and has served as first violinist with the Anchorage Symphony, Anchorage Opera, Spokane Symphony, and the Boise Philharmonic. Shauna played solo violin/viola for Idaho Shakespeare Festival’s You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, The Fantastiks, and I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change. Most recently she performed with the Darkwood Consort in Boise Contemporary Theater’s Dracula.
